- Thanksgiving eve and day (Nov. 22 & 23)

*All reservations require a $50.00 deposit per pet to secure their reservation. On holidays (Thanksgiving eve and day, Christmas eve and day, New Year's eve and day) 50% of total boarding fee must be deposited to reserve their spot. See the FAQs section for our cancellation policies.

The penalty fees listed above will be applied for each infraction in sequential order. Multiple infractions over multiple days will put your pet's daycare.

Are there any breeds your facility does not accept?

Breed Restrictions: Due to our current insurance policy, we are unable to accept any purebred or predominantly bred breeds of the following:

Pit Bulls and Pit bull mixes, German Shepherds, Doberman Pincsher, Rottweilers, Chow Chows, Great Danes, Siberian Huskies, Australian Cattle Dog, American Bull Dog,  American Staffordshire Terrier, Pit Bull Terrier, Akita, Akita Inu, Bull Terrier, Mini Bull Terrier, Anatolian Shepherd, Caucasion Shepherd, Bull Mastiff, Neopolitan Mastiff, Tibetan Mastiff, Dogue De Bordeaux, Dogo Argentino, Ca De Bou, Fila Brasiliero, Tosa Inu, Cane Corso, Alano Espanol, Boerboel, Presa Canario, Broholmer, American Bandogge, Gull Dong, Kangal Dog, Sage Koocheel, Gull Terrier, Wolf Hybrids, Border Collie, Boxer, and most herding breeds and working breeds.

*Specific breeds that are not listed may also be added to the list by Bed and Biscuit at a further time.


What Vaccinations does my pet need to lodge and play at Bed and Biscuit?


All dog guests must have up to date (Updated means the vaccines are valid during the time of your dog’s entire stay with us, and cannot be a day past due)

shot records for and show proof of:

  • Rabies 

  • Bordetella (Kennel Cough)

  • DHPP 

  • Spayed/Neutered

  • Flea and tick medication (monthly or as prescribed)

​We ask you to provide proper documentation from your vet with these vaccinations, records, and proof of prescription* sent in by email.

*A photo of a reciept from your veterinarian/company sent to us by email or a photo of your pet's prescription on the box of medication sent to us by email.


What Health Requirements does my dog need to meet to lodge and play at Bed and Biscuit?

Guests must be a minimum of 8 months old (4–7-month-old puppies may be accepted at Bed and Biscuits approval), must be **potty trained (no elimination indoors) and must not have a history of any of the following medical conditions: seizures, diabetes, Addison's disease, bloat/gastric torsion, exercise induced collapse or any other major or life-threatening health problem. 

*Bandages, cones, stitches, booties/socks, bandanas, bows, flea and tick collars, and similar items are not allowed.

**Diapers are available for rent. 


What is the process for my dog to lodge or attend daycare at Bed and Biscuit?

1. If your dog meets the medical requirements and breed restrictions (see above FAQ), please email us ( the following:

a) Your dog’s name and the dates you

    are looking to lodge.

b) Updated vaccination certificate for 

    DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies

    vaccines. Updated means the

    vaccines are valid during the time of

    your dog’s entire stay with us, and

    cannot be a day past due date.

c) Proof of prescribed flea-tick

    prevention valid during your pet’s

    stay (monthly or as prescribed).

d) Proof of being spayed/neutered.

2. We will check availability of your requested dates and review the documents emailed to us.

3. When all documents are reviewed and confirmed, a temperament test will be scheduled and a fee of *$35 will be collected for the temperament test per dog. This *$35 covers a half-day daycare ($18 nonrefundable) and the evaluation-test ($17 refundable only if your dog does not pass the temperament test).

4. We will email information about the temperament test so you have information on why and how we perform a temperament test.

5. We will also email you a “Get to know your dog” form. Please bring this form with you on the day of temperament test or email it back to us before the appointment date.

6. Upon passing the temperament test, you are then able to enroll your pet for daycare and/or lodging as long as the dates are available. If your pet does not pass the temperament, we will refund you $17 (portion of the fee that includes evaluation, report, and administration of new intake).

7. If you have your dates set for lodging, a *$50 deposit per pet, is required to lock in and reserve the dates (50% total lodging fee deposits will be required for ** holidays). This deposit goes toward the total balance.

What to pack for your dog’s lodging stay:

- Dogs must arrive with a collar and on a leash. If these items are not brought in, they can be purchased at our facility.

- Food and treats- please have feeding instructions and measurements written. Dry food should be in airtight containers or sealable bags such as Ziplock bags. We accept frozen or refrigerated meals as well and we are able to warm up the food. Please bring extra food in case of a flight delay.

- Bedding, if needed. Nothing fancy as guests are often nervous the first couple of nights and may have potty accidents.

- Pee pads and doggie diapers (if needed).

- A favorite toy, t-shirt to remind them of you, towel, small blanket that you think will help them get comfortable.

- Medication, if needed. Please keep medication in its original prescribed container with clear information and instructions.

- A brush if your dog enjoys being brushed

We provide feeding bowls and water.

What to expect on the day you check in your dog for lodging:

Check in time on the weekdays are between 12 pm - 3pm by appointment. 

Check in time on weekends are at 12pm.

The total balance is due at time of check in.

We will go over the “Get to know your dog” information and confirm the items you brought.

You’ll be asked to review and sign the “terms and conditions” for your dog’s files.

What to expect during your dog’s lodging stay:

We communicate with parents through WhatsApp by sending photos and updates.

What to expect on the day of check out:

Pick up time for your dog is 12 pm weekdays and weekends by appointment, unless another time has been arranged.

If you are planning for doggie daycare only (no lodging):

Doggie daycare is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8am - 4pm.
A full day is 8am - 4pm.
A half day is 8am - 12pm OR 12pm - 4pm.

Please let us know at least one day ahead when your dog will attend daycare.

Dogs must arrive to daycare with a collar and on a leash.

Bringing snacks for your dog’s daycare is highly encouraged.

Payment for daycare can be made on the day of daycare with PayPal, credit card (except AMEX), cash, or credit on a Bed and Biscuit Daycare Pass.


What is and why is there a temperament test?


All dog guests are required to undergo and pass our temperament test.

Our team conducts a temperament test to ensure your dog's and other dog's safety at Bed and Biscuit. You will receive a report card after the test.

A fee of *$35 per dog will be collected for the temper test.

This *$35 covers:

$18 nonrefundable fee

for a half-day daycare 

$17 refundable fee (only if your dog does not pass the temper test)

for an evaluation-test 

We will email you the process for and what to expect on your dog's temperament test upon completion of all medical requirements listed in this FAQ.



We like to conduct a temperament test for all our first-time doggy guests to understand and know your dog's general attitude toward people and other animals. We measure things like your pet's level of aggression, protectiveness, ability to distinguish between a threatening and non-threatening situation, stability, and friendliness. We do this to make sure other fur guests, staff, and your fur baby are safe.

Guests must play nice and show no signs of dominance or aggression towards dogs or people when around toys, food/water, kennel, or other objects. Guests must not cause damage to facility property or items owned by Bed and Biscuit. 


What reasons would my dog be sent home or not be allowed to attend daycare or lodging?

Including failing to meet some or all requirements listed in this FAQ, other reasons a dog may not be accepted or sent home include:

Signs of aggressive or dangerous behavior towards other dogs or staff, excessive rough play, excessive barking or whining, excessive humping or any other disruptive behavior that would require constant one on one staff attention/correction. In the event your pet damages items or property inside the facility they will be sent home and applicable fees will be charged. 

Also, dogs found to have puppy warts, kennel cough, fleas/ticks, worms, parasites, frequent or liquid diarrhea, vomiting or any other potentially contagious condition, illness or injury will be isolated. We will then contact the owner to determine the best course of action. If an owner cannot be reached, they will be taken to a veterinarian at the owner's expense if deemed necessary by our staff.

Staff will inform you if these behaviors are seen and will discuss options with you.


Does my dog stay in a crate all day while lodging?

Dogs that lodge with us get to experience daycare and social time at no additional cost (a $30 value). We strictly screen all potential guests for your pet’s safety. Our lodging guests enjoy the indoor and outdoor play areas throughout the day. The only time they are in a crate is during mealtime if they need privacy, during scheduled nap times, or when they are asleep in the evening.


What do you provide during my pet's lodging?

- Stainless steel bowls for food and water (for dogs).
- Stainless steel bowls for food and plastic water dispenser (for cats).
- Climate controlled indoor play and sleeping areas for cats and dogs.
- Fully fenced outdoor play area for dogs.
-Two rooms with comfortable and spacious cat condos each with separate play spaces.

- Options for grooming services during your pet's stay.
- Security cameras in each room for safety around the clock.
- Padded floor indoor play areas for dogs.
- Dog lodging guests participate in day care play time and play groups (a $30 value).
- Play/social time with like size dogs with similar temperament.
- Photo updates daily or weekly.
- Viewable social media pages to see some of your pet’s activity, please like and share.
- Plenty of bathroom breaks for dog guests every two hours outdoors on weekdays and every four hours on weekends.
- Two meals and one snack time served per day for dogs.
- Two meals with snacks for cats and litter boxes cleaned daily.
- Individual designated sleeping areas with wire dog Crates or Snoopy houses for dogs.

- Individual cat bed, scratching post and litter box for each cat.

How can I take a tour of the facility?

Tours are by appointment only. 

We offer tours on weekdays (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) between the hours of 11am-2pm based on schedule availability. 

There is a $30 tour fee that needs to be deposited before scheduling. 

$12 of the tour fee is nonrefundable and failure to show up at scheduled times without rescheduling will result in the forfeit of the total $30 tour fee. $18 of the tour fee will be applied as credit toward your pet's daycare on the day of their temperament test.   ​​

​*Facility is closed to tours during holiday weeks, spring break, and other popular vacation times when the hotel is at capacity with lodging guests.


What is your cancellation policy?

All lodging reservations require a $50 deposit per pet to hold their spot. 

All lodging reservations during the holidays require a 50% of the total lodging fee as a deposit to hold their spot.

Your deposit will be credited toward your final bill upon check in. 

Deposits are nonrefundable if a reservation is not cancelled 7 days prior to reservation date.

Lodging deposits are refundable if cancelled within one week or seven days prior to your pet's lodging date. * 

Any reservations made less than a week before lodging that are cancelled the deposit is nonrefundable. 


Holiday season deposits of 50% of the total lodging fee are refundable if cancelled two weeks or 14 days before scheduled lodging date. If cancelled within the two-week period prior to lodging, owner will forfeit the deposit. 


*A processing and replacement fee of $10 per pet will be charged for all cancellations (more than 7 days prior to the date of boarding) and will be deducted from the $50 reservation deposit. $40 will be refunded. Holiday season cancellations (more than14 days before scheduled lodging date) will incur a fee of $25 per pet and will be deducted from the 50% holiday reservation deposit. Please allow two weeks for processing.
